This degree offers you the opportunity to acquire a thorough training in the subject and techniques of Geography. It encourages a spirit of enquiry and intellectual development and enables specialism in either the physical geography (the natural science branch) or the human geography (the social science branch) of the subject, as well as developing an integrated environmental perspective.
This programme is for those students who have a keen interest in the environment and real world issues concerning the implications of climate change or the effects of society on nature. It is also for students who may be planning a career in meteorology and examining the effects of chemical discharge into streams.

The aims of the programme are as follows:
To examine the reasons why people live where they live
Why the mechanics of the earth's natural forces result in earthquakes, hurricanes and tidal waves
How the latter impact on the former.
The entry requirements for this programme is as follows:
General Entry Route: 3 Year Programme
Students who wish to pursue this route must have at least 4 O'Levels/C.X.C. of which 2 must be English and Mathematics, in addition to, at least 2 A'Level subjects (Grades A to E are accepted or 6 full CAPE units which includes 2 single units).
4 Year (Access Route) Programme
Students who wish to pursue this route must be at least 17 years of age and must have passed at least 4 O'Levels/C.X.C. of which 2 must be Mathematics and English.
